"Patient experience is at the heart of healthcare." ~Jason Wolf
The stresses in the healthcare industry, and in radiology in particular, continue to grow: mergers and acquisitions, staffing, utilization, reimbursement, credentialing, safety, reporting, data management...the list is endless. Administrators and managers are being asked to do more with less, patients are demanding better outcomes, and emerging technologies, especially in radiology, are exploding — all in the face of declining resources. But, these challenges create opportunities. While management skills are critical to success, never has there been a time when exceptional leadership and communication skills have been so essential to patient care and satisfaction.
We invite you to spend a day with two experts: Greg Pilat, MBA, who has extensive experience in a large, hospital-based system, and Layne Mitchell, MBA, RT(R)(CT), who worked for many years in an academic medical center and is currently working in a community-based hospital system. Together they bring the necessary experience, knowledge, and wit to address the challenges of managing patient care in the radiology suite while providing leadership in today’s healthcare environment.EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
