Shahid M. Hussain, MD, PhD

University of Nebraska Medical Center

Dr. Hussain is Professor of Radiology, Director of Body MRI, and Chief of Abdominal Imaging at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  Dr. Hussain received his medical degree and PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands and went on to complete radiology fellowships at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia, and University of North Carolina Hospitals at Chapel Hill.  His current expertise and areas of interest are liver MRI at 1.5T and 3.0T and MRI contrast media and safety. Dr Hussain has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers and a textbook Liver MRI.
 


Donald G. Mitchell, MD
Professor of Radiology
Thomas Jefferson University

Dr. Mitchell is Professor of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Mitchell received his medical degree from SUNY at Downstate College of Medicine and went on to complete residency training in radiology at George Washington Medical Center and fellowship in radiology at University of Pennsylvania.  His current expertise and areas of interest include body MRI and abdominal imaging.  His research interests include abdominal MRI, MRI contrast agents, and MRI techniques.
