Faculty Biography
Dr. Haider received his medical degree from the University of Ottawa School of Medicine and went on to complete internship training in medicine at Wellesley Hospital, University of Toronto. He received residency training in radiology at the University of Toronto, and completed his fellowship training in abdominal imaging at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Haider’s major research activities focus on abdominal and pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), with a special interest in therapeutic response assessment and function imaging of cancer using MRI and computed tomography. He has a special interest in prostate cancer imaging, as well as pancreatic, renal and liver cancers.
Currently, Dr. Haider is Professor of Radiology at University of Toronto and Clinician Scientist at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, and Associate Scientist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
