Hepatic Metastases

An accredited online case study series for radiologists and physicians who diagnose and manage patients with liver disease.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Liver disease is common and encompasses a range of benign and malignant entities. Medical imaging with a variety of modalities is often critical for the diagnosis and management of hepatobiliary diseases. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has the capability to both detect and characterize many focal and diffuse diseases of the liver and bile ducts and is assuming a greater role in the diagnosis and management of liver disease.

Case Studies in Liver MRI will highlight interesting cases where magnetic resonance imaging made a difference in patient diagnosis, treatment, and management.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be more confident to characterize and identify the appearance of fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma using Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced imaging.
