Overview
Patient safety, teamwork with staff engagement, and commitment, facilitated by effective leadership, are the tenets to creating a satisfactory patient experience, improving employee morale, and maintaining stable operations. This course aims to provide participants with strategies to become more effective leaders by focusing on their own strengths and pursuing innovative approaches to support safe patient experiences and a work environment that staff are happy and proud to call their own!
 
At the end of this course, participants can foster a new leadership culture, create patient-centric experiences, and promote safe environments for patients and staff. Participants will understand the linkage between patient satisfaction and team engagement to strengthen existing initiatives and create new ones. Lastly, participants can apply concepts to activate the leader within to revolutionize imaging departments across the nation.

This course has been approved by the American Society for Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 8.50 hours ARRT Category A continuing education credit.

In accordance with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) regulations, you must attend the entire course to receive credit.

  1. Login to your account at www.icpme.us and click on the course title.
  2. Click the Evaluation tab on the left, complete the evaluation, and submit.
  3. Click the Certificate tab on the left, select the certificate type desired, and print.

Certificates will be available in your online account. Once you have printed your certificate, it will remain in your online account at www.icpme.us as a permanent record of credits earned.

FACULTY
Nicole Dhanraj, PhD, SHRM-SCP, GPHR, CSSB, CPPS, PMP, CRA, RT (R)(CT)(MR)
Dr Dhanraj is an experienced systems director with over 20 years of diagnostic radiology experience. She is a frequent guest lecturer with extensive experience in curriculum and instructional design.

Dr Dhanraj’s current projects are focused on patient safety and improving the patient experience. She is most passionate about saving the world one image at a time! 


Katherine A. Mohr, DBA, MA, RT(R)(CT), CRA
Dr Mohr is the director of imaging services with Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. For the past 8 years, she has served as an adjunct professor at the Community College of Baltimore County and has been a medical legal consultant since 2014. Dr Mohr has earned a Master of Arts in leadership and management and a Doctorate in business administration. With over three decades of diagnostic imaging experience, Dr Mohr applies her extensive expertise to mentoring and developing prospective leaders. Dr Mohr is passionate about mentoring up. She derives great satisfaction from watching employees' confidence grow as they advance through the ranks and become leading team members.  

Dr Mohr is a former military spouse of 27 years and currently lives with her husband in Maryland. She enjoys world travel and semiannual visits to Texas, where she visits her four children and grandchildren, catching up on the stories of their life adventures
