Target Audience and Goal Statement
This activity is intended for radiologists, radiologic technologists, hematologists/oncologists, and pathologists.

The goal of this activity is for the learner to be better able to assess patients who may be at increased risk for breast cancer.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES 

Upon completion of this activity, participants will: 

Have increased knowledge regarding the 

  • Efficacy of positron emission tomography (PET) images for treatment planning 

Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to

  • Effectively guide breast cancer treatment through the use of current and emerging imaging technologies

This activity has been approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 0.75 hours of ARRT Category A continuing education credit.
