ACTIVITY GOAL
The goal of this activity is that radiologists, radiologic technologists, obstetrician/gynecologists, and primary care providers will better understand the current guidelines and supporting data on supplemental screening for breast cancer.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

Have increased knowledge regarding the

  • Current guidelines for breast cancer screening
  • Tools used to assess risk for breast cancer
  • Efficacy of current state-of-the-art breast cancer screening modalities used for supplemental screening

Demonstrate greater confidence in their ability to:

  • Collaboratively assist patients in reaching an informed decision regarding their options for supplemental breast cancer screening

ACCREDITATION AND CREDIT
This activity has been approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 0.50 hours of ARRT Category A continuing education credit.
