ACTIVITY GOAL
The goal of this activity is to provide participants with expert insight regarding breast cancer screening and optimal approaches for patients with elevated risk.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

Have increased knowledge regarding the:

  • Factors that affect breast density
  • Effectiveness of breast imaging techniques when screening high-risk patients and those with dense breasts

Have greater competence related to:

  • Identify patients that may be indicated for breast cancer screening with MRI
     

ACCREDITATION AND CREDIT
This program has been approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 1.5 hours of ARRT Category A continuing education credit.
