Under the direction of Dr. Elise Berman, the MR breast practice at Fairfax Radiology Consultants (FRC) has one of the highest patient volumes in the US. This successful program consists of a dedicated group of breast MR technologists led by Mary Perrine, a breast MR coordinator, and a magnet dedicated to breast imaging. As part of a collaborative team, Dr. Berman, Ms. Perrine, and the FRC group have performed more than 8000 diagnostic breast MRI studies and have successfully performed over 600 breast MRI-guided biopsies since the inception of their breast MRI program.
