Overview
This two-day course will focus on building interpretation and biopsy skills. General session lectures will provide the fundamentals to guide participants as they work through the independent and hands-on portions of the curriculum. Attendees should have some knowledge of breast MRI through previous course work or clinical practice.

Educational Objectives
- Assess the clinical utility of breast MRI for screening, detection, diagnosis, and management of breast disease in accordance with current research and recommended guidelines.
- Develop a systematic strategy to interpret breast MRI images and improve diagnostic accuracy.
- Use standardized terminology to assess and report breast MRI abnormalities in accordance with ACR BI-RADS® for MRI.
- Apply standard methods for targeting and sampling breast lesions when performing MRI-guided biopsy to consistently obtain a diagnostic tissue sample.
Self Assessment Module (SAM)
This course includes one self assessment module (SAM) credit in Breast MRI Interpretation ABR reference #ICPS100409-591 approved April 3, 2009. This SAM is qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in ABR Maintenance of Certification Program.
This course includes one self assessment module (SAM) credit in Breast MRI-guided Biopsy: Manual Targeting and Assessment of Sampling Adequacy ABR reference #ICPS100409-592 approved April 3, 2009. This SAM is qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in ABR Maintenance of Certification Program.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds requested TWO WEEKS in advance of the start of the course will be issued for the amount of tuition paid less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received within two weeks of the start of the course.
