An accredited one-hour webinar with a focus on anatomic and functional imaging of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma for radiologists and physicians who diagnose and manage patients with liver disease.


Series Overview
This series brings to learners the opportunity to view a variety of liver MRI cases. Expert faculty will share their experience and approach to liver MRI in their practice.


Educational Objectives for this Series
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be more confident to:

  • Develop a systematic strategy for the evaluation and interpretation of liver MRI to improve diagnostic accuracy
  • Provide a practical and clinically-oriented overview of liver MRI techniques and image interpretation in the diagnosis of liver disease

 

Accreditation & Credit
The International Center for Postgraduate Medical Education (ICPME) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

ICPME designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

How to Receive Credit
View the entire one-hour session. Listening to the question and answer period at the end of the lecture is not required to receive credit. At the conclusion of the lecture, close the WebEx Player window.

   1. Log-in to your account at www.icpme.us to complete the online EVALUATION. The EVALUATION can be accessed through the course link in your account.
   2. Instructions to print a credit certificate will be generated upon completion of the online EVALUATION.


Faculty Biography
Dr. Miller is Chief, Body Imaging Section and Gastrointestinal Radiology and Professor of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Medical Director of MRI at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and completed internship and residency training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University. Dr. Miller went on to complete fellowship training in body imaging at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard University Medical School, Boston, MA and a GI radiology fellowship at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Miller's research interests include liver, pancreatic, and biliary imaging, abdominal MRI and CT, gastrointestinal radiology, and genitourinary radiology.
