Course Overview

This series brings to learners the opportunity to view a variety of liver MRI cases. Expert faculty will share their experience and approach to liver MRI in their practice.

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be more confident to:

  • Develop a systematic strategy for the evaluation and interpretation of liver MRI to improve diagnostic accuracy
  • Provide a practical and clinically-oriented overview of liver MRI techniques and image interpretation in the diagnosis of liver disease

Accreditation & Credit

ICPME cannot grant credit for group viewing.  To receive credit, EACH attendee must sign in on a separate computer.

Physicians
The International Center for Postgraduate Medical Education (ICPME) is accredited by  the Accreditation Council for Continuing  Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

ICPME designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Radiologic Technologists
This program is approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 1.0 hour of ARRT Category A+ continuing education credit.

This program is offered by ICPME through WebEx webinar service.

  • At the end of the registration process, click on ACCESS WEBINAR NOW to enroll with WebEx and complete the precourse evaluation.
  • Log-in instructions for the day of the webinar with be sent to you via e-mail upon completion of the precourse evaluation.


To Apply for Credit

There are no fees to participate in this activity. Each participant will need a computer with internet access.
  • To receive credit, each participant must register, complete the precourse evaluation, attend the entire one-hour session, and complete the postcourse evaluation at the end of the session. ICPME cannot grant credit for group viewing.
  • Upon verification of your participation, you will receive an email with instructions to print your certificate from your online account at www.icpme.us. 


Faculty Biography

Dr. Reeder is Associate Professor of Radiology and Division Chief of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Cardiovascular Imaging at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He completed his radiology residency in diagnostic imaging and a fellowship in cardiovascular and abdominal imaging at Stanford University. Previously, he completed medical school at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, where he also received his Masters and PhD in Biomedical engineering. He is originally from Canada where he received his BScE in Engineering Physics at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Dr. Reeder's research interests are in the development of quantitative biomarkers of chronic liver disease, as well as novel imaging methods for cardiovascular and abdominal MRI, particularly in the development of rapid and quantitative imaging techniques, including rapid cardiac imaging methods, and novel fat-water separation techniques.
